I drove by the velour( a music venue) the other night, and happened to snap a pic of the hip crowd out front. I've been wanting to make a comic book so i decided to practice by comicifying the scene. Here it is with coloring...

I found this old rocking horse in my attic yesterday and thought it would be funny to make a cowboy stencil with it. I used a rust texture from texturebits.blogspot.com and dodged and burned it til it looked pretty.

Underwater Picture

Today was slow at work, so in between calls I worked on this cool pic that my friend took of me underwater with a glowstick. It just looked like it would be super fun to adjust and add stuff to it. Here is the before and after.

Sketchpad practice

Today I was bored and realized i had never really just sketched an abstract on my sketchpad. I've always done planned out tight drawings. This is what came out... haha, its up to interpretation...

Abducted Stencil

Here is the stencil graphic I made last night. To make it i laid backwards across a stool and held limp while the pic was taken. From there I cut the body out in photoshop and upped the contrast. For the swirly design i actually copied the design of a real crop circle! This one was real fun to make!

My first blog!

I have started a blog in hopes that it will inspire me to keep working on art projects and such. Its not very fun to make something awesome and than have no one see it! So hopefully this will motivate me to keep chuggin and pluggin my ideas. Lately I have been loving making graffiti stencils. I almost like the creation and setting up the stencil more than I like spraying and defiling public property. I have so many neat ideas that i will probably never end up actually spraying and will be posting them here.

Along with my art i will probably post updates on the apartment I am building.
I have been building an apartment in my parents unfinished basement. Ya, sounds kinda lame, i know. But its gonna be a super nice pad with a movie theater, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and computer room, its completely separate from their flat and i wont have to pay any rent! I have to pay for my own school, and this was the best means to do so. What's also sweet about the situation is that i have learned how to completely build and finish a house. I know plumbing, drywalling, framing, and electric. I hope to use these new skills to buy, refinish, and flip houses as a hobby when i am graduated and making more $$$.
